Welcome to Sunrise Preschool!

Sunrise Preschool is a non-profit preschool, first established in 1974 in beautiful Parksville, B.C.

Our philosophy says it all - "Learn While You Play". We encourage children to socialize within the group, respect one another, share and be considerate of friends.

Our goals for our children are to encourage them to enjoy nature and the environment, learn age-appropriate skills, recognize numbers and letters, colours and shapes, enjoy stories and rhymes and songs, learn about music through dance and instruments, learn life skills such as health and safety issues, participate in arts and crafts and creative fun projects, and enjoy the outdoor playground.

Parents are invited to help in the class room if they wish for large projects, and we have an open door policy - please visit when you have a moment! Parents are also asked to join us on field trips if they are able.

Get Involved

Sunrise Preschool is a not for profit organization, which means we elect an executive board each year - we need some great parent volunteers for this year's board, so if you want to get involved in your child's education, contact president Erica Dragani for more information!

Classes

We have 3 classes:

• Mon/Wed/Fri 9:00-11:30am 4 year olds
• Tues/Thurs 9:00-11:30am 3 year olds
• Tues/Wed/Thurs 12:30-3:00pm 3 & 4 year olds

Rates

Mon/Wed/Fri AM and Tues/Wed/Thurs PM classes: $165.00 monthly

Tues/Thurs AM class: $120.00 monthly

$40.00 Registration & Emergency Kit fee

$5.00 Membership Fee
